Widespread rain continues for your Tuesday with more rain chances the rest of the week

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) –

TODAY, TONIGHT, AND

TOMORROW’S FORECAST:

Tuesday will be rainy, gloomy, cool, and smoky.

The first part of the day will be rainy and stormy as the cold front and low pressure move through Siouxland.

This will keep clouds with us through much of the day, making it gloomy and cool.

Daytime highs will be in the 60s for the day.

Then this afternoon and evening, we could see some more ground smoke move in since our winds will be from the north up to 30 miles per hour.

The smoke doesn’t look to be as thick as it was Sunday, which is good news.

TODAY(KTIV)

Smoke could linger into the night as clouds decrease.

Lows overnight will fall into the 40s with light winds from the north.

It could be a bit chilly tonight.

TONIGHT
TONIGHT(KTIV)

Wednesday will start off with widespread sunshine, but by the afternoon clouds increase, and so does our chance of rain.

We are not forecasting a lot of rain, but a stray shower could be possible.

Daytime highs will be in the mid-to-upper 70s, which is near average for this time of year. Our normal daytime high for this time of year is around 79 degrees.

Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
