OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The loudest of the storms have come and gone but there will still be lingering rounds of rain and a few storms out there this morning. That will keep things rather damp all morning. The rain becomes less likely into the afternoon with just spotty showers possible among the thick clouds through about 6pm.
While the rain moves through, temperatures will gradually fall off all day. We’ll likely be near 60 degrees by lunch and stay fairly steady the rest of the day. That’s a far cry from the 91 we saw yesterday.

North wind gusts up near 30 mph will further add to the chill as well.

Clouds will clear out tonight and slow fill back in on Wednesday but we should still get a great Wednesday to enjoy. Highs will end up in the upper 70s by the afternoon.

Another round of lighter rain and a few storms will enter the forecast on our Stuff the Truck Thursday. Spotty showers and a few storms will move in after 9am from the southwest and will give us a few rounds of rain to contend with as we warm into the lower 70s.
It’s trending warmer into the weekend but we’re still avoiding any massive heat waves and any long humid stretches.
