According to a press release from MTS, the Green Line trolleys will have additional trips between 6:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. from Downtown San Diego to the Stadium Station, before the event.
After the event, the Green Line trolleys will depart Stadium Station every 15 minutes or better in both directions with extra trips added as needed until crowds diminish after the concert.
UC San Diego Blue Line will also run every 15 minutes or better in both directions after the concert until midnight. Two extra trips will depart at 11:49 p.m. from America Plaza to UTC, and another will depart at 12:22 a.m. on Friday, from 12th & Imperial towards San Ysidro.
Copper Line trolleys will depart El Cajon Transit Center every 15 minutes toward Santee until 11:10 p.m., with two additional trips added at 11:40 p.m. and 12:18 a.m. on Friday.
To pay for an MTS fare, customers can download the PRONTO app prior to the concert. They are advised to load at least $5 onto their virtual card, which will cover a round-trip fare for adult riders. Riders must tap or scan at station pass validators to activate their pass before boarding the trolley, MTS said.
Customers can also use contactless payment or tap a credit card to pay for a one-way ride for $2.20. The ticket will be valid for two hours. This option allows concertgoers to bypass the ticket vending machines and speed up wait times.
Rideshare is another option for those attending the concert. According to the stadium, rideshare drop-offs and pick-ups are welcome on Mission Village Drive, just north of Jacaranda Street, inside Gate 1.
