How to Watch the 60th Annual ACM Awards for Free


It’s finally time to tune in to the 60th Annual ACM Awards, and, from what we’ve heard, it’s shaping up to be a must-watch for country music fans. The show will once again be hosted by Reba McEntire, and will feature performances we know we’ll still be talking about tomorrow.

The broadcast will kick off with a celebration of 60 years of the awards show, with a performance featuring Clint Black, Dan + Shay, LeAnn Rimes, Sugarland, Reba McEntire, and Wynonna Judd. And that’s just the first 12 minutes! Alan Jackson, Backstreet Boys, Blake Shelton, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Ella Langley, Eric Church, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Shaboozey, Sugarland, and Zach Top will also be on hand to perform. Keith Urban will receive the coveted Triple Crown award.

How to watch the ACM Awards

60th Annual ACM Awards

The event takes place on May 8 at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas (aka the world headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys). If you don’t have tickets to watch the show in person, there’s only one way to see it, and that’s on Prime Video.

If you don’t have an Amazon Prime membership, don’t worry. According to the ACM Awards, a Prime membership will not be required to watch live. If you don’t have an account, you can simply go to http://amazon.com/acm on your smart TV, laptop, phone, or tablet. You can also watch it on the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch. The show starts at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CST/ 5 p.m. PST.

If you can’t tune in live, the rebroadcast will be available on Prime Video starting Friday, May 9, beginning at 8 p.m. EST.
