This former WWE Women’s Champion is finally back to SmackDown.
Last seen during the Elimination Chamber PLE, Nia Jax is finally back. On the 25th April edition of SmackDown, last year’s ‘Queen of the Ring’ winner, Nia Jax, returned and attacked Tiffany Stratton, following her match against Jade Cargill. Cargill and Stratton indulged themselves in a first-time-ever match against each other as the current champion clashed against the former AEW TBS Champion.
While Naomi jumped and attacked Cargill mid-way through the bout, essentially stopping it, it did not stop Jax from continuing her ambush. Dropping Stratton with an AnNiahilator, Jax left her former mentee lying inside the ring.
With Charlotte Flair missing from tonight’s SmackDown, Stratton found herself a new championship opponent ahead of the Backlash PLE.
John Cena’s WWE Championship Opponent Announced For Backlash 2025
Earlier this week, on the 21st April edition of Raw, fans witnessed The Apex Predator reignite his storied rivalry against John Cena. However, with the babyface and heel characters now reversed, fans are in to witness a different type of story unfold.
According to the reports, in a few days, John Cena is all set to defend his World Championship against Randy Orton at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
