Fans of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., now have another reason to visit the theme parks, as it was just announced that a new baby giraffe was born at Animal Kingdom.
Disney World shared the news on April 7, along with some photos of the baby boy at the park where visitors could see him relaxing with his mom. The caption read, “Jambo, Tucker! Meet the newest addition to the savanna at @WaltDisneyWorld! 🤩🦒.”
Fans were ecstatic about the baby news, welcoming Tucker into the world with enthusiasm. In the photos shared by Disney World, Tucker looked inquisitive, exploring the world around him while he stayed close to his mother.
“Absolutely adorable 😍😍😍🦒,” proclaimed a fan in the comments, while more wrote, “OMG HEY THERE TUCKER!!🥹🦒,” “Oh my gosh! How adorable is Tucker! 🥰 Congratulations! 🎊,” and “Tuckerrrr 🥹😭 need to see this little fella in person 🥹🦒.”
The official Disney Parks Blog update revealed that Tucker is the first giraffe baby born at Disney World since 2021, and he is his mother Mara’s third baby.
Fans visiting Animal Kingdom can look out for Tucker while riding the popular Kilimanjaro Safaris ride in the Africa section of the park. Disney blogger Living By Disney already shared a video of Tucker out on the savanna as guests drove by in a ride vehicle.
