Who’s ready for another round of Bob Odenkirk vs. the world?
Nobody 2 will bring Odenkirk’s Hutch Mansell — and his bruised, bloodied knuckles — back to the big screen on Aug. 15. On Tuesday, May 13, a new trailer for the sequel to 2021’s Nobody debuted, showing the former assassin on a family vacation that takes a turn for the violent.
“Strictly family time,” Hutch promises his family ahead of their trip. If only the goons working for Sharon Stone’s crime boss Lendina would leave the Mansell family alone.
Hutch, it appears, can’t resist teaching them a lesson in pain when they’re a little too rough with his kids (Gage Munroe and Paisley Cadorath) at the arcade.
As his wife Becca (Connie Nielsen) notes, that’s only on the “first day” of the vacation.

From director Timo Tjahjanto and returning writer Derek Kolstad, Nobody 2 is co-written by Aaron Rabin, Umair Aleem and Odenkirk, 62, himself. The Emmy winner earned critical acclaim for the first installment, which saw him punching a litany of bad guys in increasingly inventive and practical ways.
As the sequel’s trailer shows, Stone’s character is determined to find the “nobody” — “scorched earth” — who’s come into her criminal underworld swinging. At one point Odenkirk is bashing someone’s head in, screaming, “I’m on vacation!”
As things appear to continue to spiral, Nielsen’s character can be heard telling her husband, “We all have different sides, but most of all, you’re a dad.”
She adds, “Go fix this s—.”
Nobody 2 also brings back Christopher Lloyd as Hutch’s father David, RZA as his brother and Michael Ironside as his father-in-law. Playing a young Hutch and Becca are Nolan Grantham and Pyper Braun, respectively.
Nobody 2 is in theaters Aug. 15.
