Frisco track meet stabbing suspect’s bond reduced to $250,000

Frisco murder suspect, 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony, appeared in court Monday morning as his attorneys asked for a reduction in his $1 million bond.

Anthony, 17, was charged with murder after the stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a track meet last week.

Bond Reduction Hearing

The bond reduction hearing began at 9 a.m. with Karmelo Anthony entering the courtroom in a gold jumpsuit, handcuffed and chained.

His father and mother both testified at the hearing.

During the hearing, we learned Karmelo is the oldest child and has three siblings. The family moved to the DFW area in 2021.

He was the captain of the football and track teams, and he had never been arrested before this incident. He has worked at Foot Locker for two years and worked a second job at H-E-B.

Defense Attorney Request:

Anthony’s attorneys asked the judge to reduce his bond to $150,000. Defense Attorney Mike Howard said, “Given that Karmelo has no prior criminal history…given that this young man has not been in any sort of trouble before. 1 million dollars is not necessary.”

“This family needs to be able to survive. There’s been a tremendous amount of pressure. I think at this point, living in a gated community, given everything, the safety of their younger children is very warranted. Security details and criminal defense are not cheap.”

Howard suggested putting Karmelo on an ankle monitor and imposing house arrest to “give this young man a chance to get out of jail and be with his family.”

After the bond hearing, Howard addressed the media outside the Collin County Courthouse. He said, “Every Texan deserves the right to defend themselves when they reasonably fear for their life.”

“Self defense is a protection that applies to each and every one of us. There are two sides to every story. Karmelo is a 17-year-old kid and an excellent student. He is the captain of his track team and the captain of his football team. This is a tragedy all the way around for both families.”

He says his team is confident that after a full investigation, “the truth will come out.”

He says this has been a one-sided investigation at this point.

“Bond, as the judge said, is not supposed to be an instrument of oppression, it’s not supposed to keep people in jail. It’s to ensure someone comes to court,” said Howard.

“I know both sides would ask that the temperature on this be allowed to come down,” he said.

Prosecutors Cross Examination:

In cross-examination, the prosecutors said Anthony was in an “altercation” on Feb. 4 in school. This altercation did not involve law enforcement.

They brought up the fundraising page that is operated by Anthony’s mother. The goal was raised from $450,000 to $500,000. It is currently at $412,000.

Bill Wirsky, Collin County First Assistant, asked if they had more than $400,000, why haven’t they bonded him out of jail yet?

The family said it is a difficult process to get the money and “it isn’t as simple as giving a phone call to access it.” The family also said a lot of the money has to go to the legal defense.

Wirsky said this appears to be unjustified first degree murder. “For reasons unknown, the defendant brought a knife to a track meet. For what probably could have been a fist fight at worst. [The family] could make this million-dollar bond as soon as they get access to it. I don’t know why we are here.”

He also said this has devastated two families.

Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis says this is a terrible tragedy for not just Frisco, but the Collin County community.

“We look forward to continuing the process and looking at all the facts of this case,” he said to the media outside the Collin County Courthouse after the bond reduction hearing. “We will go where the facts lead us.”

He said this case has “struck a nerve” in the community.

“It is hard for everyone to be level-headed at a time like this. It’s our job to be level-headed, to be fact-based and follow the truth wherever it may lead.”

Bond Reduced:

The judge reduced the teen’s bond to $250,000, and he will be placed on house arrest. He will have to speak to the bailiff every Friday morning, and he is not allowed to be on social media.

The family will have to post the bond before Anthony is released from jail and placed on house arrest.

The Judge:

Judge Angela Tucker of the 199th Judicial District Court says she learned of this case assignment last Monday, and the cases are assigned at random. She will only preside over the bond reduction hearing. There will be another random selection for the judge assigned to the trial.

Judge Tucker said they’ve never had the security issues they’ve faced with this case.

She also said during the hearing that this is a bond hearing and not a trial, and at the bond hearing you don’t get everything.

The purpose of a bond is to ensure the defendant will return to court and to ensure the safety of the community, she said.

“I don’t take that lightly at all. I take those things very seriously.”

She goes on to say, “There is no replacement for the loss of life or the loss of a child. I don’t want the family to think a bond amount is connected to the dignity of loss. You cannot make the person come back.”

New Attorney Hired

The family on Saturday announced they had hired a new attorney to represent Anthony at Monday’s hearing.

FOX4 spoke with an attorney who is not connected with the case and asked about what could be expected Monday morning.

“Obviously, in this case, there is not criminal history, so that’s going to weigh in his favor to lowering a bond,” Attorney Toby Shook said. “The judge will also consider if the defendant is a flight risk. So the defense attorney is going to put on family members that can show he had lived for some years in Frisco, that his family’s there, that he’s not a flight risk. He has what they call ties to the community.”

Frisco track meet stabbing

17-year-old Austin Metcalf, a junior at Memorial High School in Frisco, was killed at a UIL District 11-5A track meet at Kuykendall Stadium.

Police said a student from Centennial High School in Frisco, 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony, stabbed Metcalf in the chest during a fight.

An arrest report for Anthony said that Anthony told a school resource officer that Metcalf “put his hands” on him. After the officer mentioned to others that he had the alleged suspect in custody, the report states Anthony said, “I’m not alleged. I did it.”

The report states Anthony also asked the officers, “Is he going to be okay?” And he “asked if what happened could be considered self-defense.”

Witnesses told police that Anthony was sitting under the Memorial High School tent and was told to leave. Anthony allegedly told Metcalf “touch me and see what happens.” One witness told police that Metcalf then pushed Anthony to get him out of the tent and Anthony reached into a bag and stabbed him.

Anthony was arrested and is now charged with first-degree murder.

He is in the Collin County jail on a $1 million bond.

Austin Metcalf Funeral Service

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12 at Hope Fellowship Frisco East.

The family held a private burial after the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a scholarship in honor of Austin Metcalf at https://hopefellowship.churchcenter.com/giving

Outside the church, some were wearing football jerseys. Metcalf was a member of the Frisco Memorial High School football team and was voted MVP this past season.

He was also a member of the track and field team.

Austin Metcalf

Jeff Metcalf described Austin as an honor student, a natural leader, and a talented athlete.

In addition to track and field, he was a linebacker on the Memorial High School football team.

“Austin was a leader. He led the football team. He was voted team MVP by his players and coaches,” he said. “He played inside. His brother plays outside. Football was his pride and joy. He was working on track and field to increase his speed.”

The three went hunting together this past weekend, something they loved to do together, and the twin brothers had grown up doing with their dad.

“I’m so fortunate to be able to spend that weekend, not knowing it was the last weekend I’ll ever spend with him,” Metcalf said. “I was able to watch and be blessed, so much, to have such, both my sons are amazing. My other son is just crushed. I feel for him now, he won’t be the same. None of us will.”

Based on the number of people who showed up at the hospital, Metcalf knows his son touched people’s lives.

Karmelo Anthony fundraisers

By the numbers:

As of Saturday afternoon, a fundraiser on GiveSendGo had brought in more than $389,000. It now has a goal of $500,000.

Earlier this week, the fundraising goal was set to $450,000.

A message on the page from Anthony’s family reads:

“This is the Official Support Fund for Karmelo and his family during this challenging and difficult time.

“The narrative being spread is false, unjust, and harmful. As a family of faith, we are deeply grateful for all of your support during this trying period. Your prayers and assistance mean more to us now more than ever.”

The fundraising has generated outrage on social media with people calling on the platform to stop allowing donations.

Hamilton’s Ferrari honeymoon is well and truly over

0

Lewis Hamilton’s dream Ferrari Formula 1 move started so brightly with consistent enthusiasm and a (sprint) pole and race victory in only their second weekend together.

Even through the difficulties of the Melbourne strategy missteps and the double disqualification at the Chinese Grand Prix, a visibly re-energised Hamilton was buoyant about his start to life at Ferrari.

But that glorious honeymoon period arguably came to an end at Suzuka with Hamilton’s bizarre claim of a “deficit” to Charles Leclerc, and that’s been further compounded in Bahrain.

Hamilton admitted he’s “just not doing the job” right now as he qualified ninth in Bahrain, and will start seven places behind team-mate Leclerc.

For the second weekend running, Hamilton has been the slower Ferrari driver, this time by a more significant margin than at Suzuka where he was three tenths slower in qualifying and three places behind in the race.

He had his first flying lap in Q3 deleted and after his final run was just short of six tenths slower than Leclerc.

Hamilton was clearly despondent on the way back to the pits after his final Q3 run, repeatedly shaking his head as race engineer Riccardo Adami informed him of how far off the pace he was.

Hamilton-Adami radio exchange at end of Q3

Hamilton: How far off am I?
Adami: Half a second, seven tenths to Russell, Russell did a 1m30.0s.
Hamilton: What position am I? P7?
Adami: P9.
Hamilton: What are sector times?
Adami: Half a tenth slower to Piastri first sector…
Hamilton: I’m sorry guys, sorry man. Really sorry.
Adami: Four tenths second sector, three tenths last sector.

When asked what he was apologising for after qualifying, Hamilton told Sky Sports F1: “Just about my performance. My poor performance.

“There are no reasons. I’m just not doing the job.”

That bafflement continued when Hamilton spoke to media including The Race’s Samarth Kanal.

To do it justice below you’ll find a complete transcript of the exchange.

Hamilton’s post-qualifying interview

Question: You don’t seem happy, can you take us through your qualifying session?
Hamilton: It was pretty straightforward. Pretty much just…
Q: Had a deleted lap in Q3, put a little bit of extra pressure on the final run?
Hamilton: It didn’t help but it wasn’t the worst so…
Q: Are you finding the window of performance in this car quite narrow or fluctuating? It must be quite frustrating to try and get the most out of the Ferrari?
Hamilton: I’m just not doing a good job on my side so I just need to keep improving.
Q: New floor is a step, Charles was saying probably isn’t best track to see it, but going in right direction?
Hamilton: Yeah.
Q: What’s possible tomorrow?
Hamilton: Hopefully top five, I’ll try to see if I can get in the top five. We’ll see.
Q: Positive to see Leclerc way up there?
Hamilton: Yeah, clearly the car is good enough.
Q: You came to Ferrari with such hope and optimism, riding a good wave, is this the lowest you’ve felt since joining Ferrari? You’ve looked pretty down?
Hamilton: It’s definitely not a good feeling for sure.
Q: Last week talked about the difference between the two cars, has that been resolved? No issues?
Hamilton: It’s been resolved.
Q: Where do you go from here? What’s the route forward?
Hamilton: I really don’t know, I really don’t know. I don’t have a lot of answers for you guys. Just wasn’t quick today.

Leclerc happy with his progress

There’s a clear contrast at Ferrari right now, with Hamilton baffled about his pace deficit and Leclerc encouraged by the progress being made on his side of the garage amid a difficult start to the season.

“It was really good, but I don’t think today’s performance relies on my record on this track. I think it’s the result of a lot of work,” Leclerc said when asked how good his Q3 lap was.

“At the beginning of the season, we obviously weren’t where we wanted to be and since two or three races, I’ve gone in an interesting direction set-up-wise, which seems to help me to extract a bit more out of the car. That’s what I’m trying to do every weekend.

“For now, it seems to be better and better, which is a good sign for the future. I’m happy with the lap. It was very tricky to put everything together, but I think I did so. There wasn’t much more inside the car.

“I did not expect to be so close to pole position – just like him. But tomorrow is going to be a bit more of a challenge.”

Leclerc, who has moved onto the front row courtesy of George Russell’s grid penalty, did not expect to challenge the McLarens on Sunday because of McLaren’s “extremely good” tyre management.

But he reckoned he will be “pretty close” with the Mercedes and Red Bulls.

He also thought the new floor Ferrari debuted has made a difference already, gaining him a position in qualifying.

“I’m curious to see what it will do tomorrow,” Leclerc added.

“However, it’s probably not the best track to extract the maximum out of this new upgrade, but in the next few weekends, we shall see more of it.”

Bahrain GP: Oscar Piastri claims pole for McLaren, Lando Norris only sixth and Max Verstappen seventh | F1 News

0

Oscar Piastri took pole position in a dramatic end to qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix as championship leader Lando Norris was only sixth.

Piastri made the most of his McLaren team-mate Norris’ scruffy final lap in Q3 to record his second career F1 pole by less than two tenths from George Russell, but the Mercedes was later demoted to third by a one-place grid penalty for being prematurely released from his garage ahead of a restart during Q2.

That ruling promoted Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc from third to the front row, while Russell’s Mercedes team-mate Kimi Antonelli was punished for the same offence and dropped from fourth to fifth, with Alpine’s Pierre Gasly the other beneficiary.

McLaren were expected to lock out the front row after dominating practice but a poor last lap from Norris as the track ramped up left him facing a fight through the field on Sunday.

Norris leads the championship by just one point from Max Verstappen, who will start right behind the McLaren driver as he struggled with his Red Bull’s braking throughout qualifying.

With Piastri only 13 points behind Norris in the standings, he has an opportunity to make inroads into his deficit after the Bahrain Grand Prix, which begins at 4pm live on Sky Sports F1 on Sunday.

Lewis Hamilton endured another disappointing qualifying session as he was ninth behind Carlos Sainz, with the Spaniard delivering his best showing yet for Williams after being replaced by the seven-time world champion at Ferrari.

Yuki Tsunoda ensured Red Bull had two drivers in Q3 for the first time this season but could only manage 10th.

Haas’ Esteban Ocon crashed heavily into the barriers during Q2, which resulted in the red flag and restart that led to the Mercedes penalties, but managed to walk away from the accident.

Piastri delivers as Norris throws chance away

Throughout practice, McLaren were clearly ahead of the field but Piastri has been setting the pace since second practice on Friday.

Having topped Q2 and gone fastest after the first Q3 runs, Piastri faced serious pressure when Russell delivered a great lap on the evolving track to take provisional pole.

The Australian delivered with a 1:29.841 to beat Russell’s time by 0.168s, so attention turned to Norris, who was behind on the circuit.

Norris was third following the opening Q3 laps but made an error at Turn One on his last run and shredded more time over the remainder of the lap to end up 0.426s adrift of pole in sixth.

A despondent Lando Norris felt he just was not quick enough after qualifying sixth for the Bahrain GP in his McLaren

Antonelli and Gasly jumped the British driver with their best qualifying performances of the season, both within four tenths of Piastri.

“I’ve felt confident out there pretty much all weekend. FP1 was an experience for us all I think, it felt more like a rally car than an F1 car,” said Piastri.

“But from then on, I’ve felt really comfortable with the car. FP3 we had good pace. In qualifying, the others caught up a little bit closer than what I wanted but I still delivered the laps when it mattered, which was the most important thing at the end. So very happy.”

Verstappen rescued a frustrating session in seventh having suffered from brake issues which may have been created by a set-up change.

It looked like Tsunoda was going to outqualify the Dutchman but the Japanese driver had to settle for 10th, although will be relieved to reach Q3, which is the first time Verstappen’s team-mate has done so in 2025.

Hamilton had another disappointing qualifying for the second weekend running as he trailed team-mate Leclerc by 0.597s. Ferrari brought a new floor to Bahrain but it does not seem to have given Hamilton the same confidence Leclerc has.

Following a disappointing Bahrain Grand Prix qualifying, Lewis Hamilton says that he believes he is ‘not doing the job’ and apologises to Ferrari engineers and fans

Elsewhere, there was controversy when the stewards announced Nico Hulkenberg’s lap from Q1 had been deleted for track limits after the Sauber driver had already finished and been knocked out in Q2.

Had the lap deletion been confirmed before Q2, Alex Albon would have competed in the second part of Qualifying instead of being eliminated in Q1 in 16th.

The stewards later admitted they did not deem Turn 11, where Hulkenberg breached track limits, “to be an area of focus” and “got it wrong” to not delete the lap earlier.

Bahrain GP: Lewis Hamilton deflated as Ferrari struggles continue

0

SAKHIR, Bahrain — Lewis Hamilton cut a dejected figure after qualifying ninth for Ferrari in Bahrain on Saturday, saying “it’s definitely not a good feeling for sure.”

Hamilton is gearing up for his fourth race since his dream switch to Ferrari but the honeymoon period appears over already.

After having his first Q3 run deleted due to a track limits violation Hamilton qualified down the order, with teammate Charles Leclerc qualifying third and six tenths up the road.

Hamilton said he was “really sorry” to his Ferrari team on team radio, and was not in a talkative mood in the media pen on Saturday evening.

“I don’t have a lot of answers for you guys, just wasn’t quick today,” the seven-time world champion said, in a session full of short answers.

“I’m just not doing a good enough job on my side so I’ve got to keep improving.”

When asked if it’s the lowest he’s felt since joining Ferrari, a move which was greeted with huge fanfare in the lead-in to the season, Hamilton replied: “It’s definitely not a good feeling for sure.”

He then referenced Leclerc’s performance.

“Clearly the car is good enough [to be higher] which is good,” he said.

Hamilton had caused a stir after the Japanese Grand Prix when he suggested something was not working on his car the same as it was on Leclerc’s.

Pressed if that was still the case, he replied simply: “That’s been resolved.”

The Brit sounded confident he can make progress on Sunday.

Asked by ESPN what was possible in the race itself, Hamilton said: “Hopefully top five … I’ll try and see if I can get into the top five, let’s see.”

Jacob Elordi Faces Off Against Rising Star Owen Cooper on ‘Wuthering Heights’ Set |

0

Jacob Elordi has admitted to being intimidated by his younger doppelganger, Owen Cooper, during the shoot of Emerald Fennell’s take on ‘Wuthering Heights.’ Cooper, who recently gained acclaim for his appearance in ‘Adolescence,’ played the young Heathcliff, a role later taken up by Elordi.
In an interview on 10 News First, Elordi complimented Cooper on his talent, saying, “He’s a rock star. He’s brilliant, and he’s intimidating.” He remembered the first time they met, when he nervously asked Cooper if he got the jitters. “He just said, ‘No,'” Elordi said, laughing, “and I thought, cool. Cool, me neither.”
Cooper’s performance as Jamie Miller in ‘Adolescence,’ a teen murder suspect, has elicited critical comparisons to young Robert De Niro. His grown-up performance has made him a Hollywood up-and-comer.
Elordi called ‘Wuthering Heights’ a “beautiful” project and complimented director Emerald Fennell as “a genius.” He stresses that shooting ‘Wuthering Heights’ has been a special experience.
However, Elordi’s casting as Heathcliff has stirred debate, with some arguing he doesn’t align with the character’s “racially ambiguous” description from Emily Brontë’s novel.
The star-studded cast also includes Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw. Robbie’s production company, LuckyChap, is behind the film, marking another collaboration with Fennell after ‘Saltburn’ and ‘Promising Young Woman.’
The casting has had a mixed reaction. While some are welcoming of the diverse cast—Shazad Latif and Hong Chau among them in central roles—others have knocked the casting of actors who “look like they belong on Instagram” for a tale told in the harsh Yorkshire moors of the 1800s.
In spite of the controversy, hype for ‘Wuthering Heights’ continues, fueled by its star power and director’s track record. With Owen Cooper’s debut performance and Jacob Elordi’s seal of approval, the adaptation is set to deliver a new interpretation of the timeless love story.

Trail Blazers, Chauncey Billups agree to multi-year contract extension

0

The Portland Trail Blazers and head coach Chauncey Billups have agreed to a multi-year contract extension, the team announced Sunday.

Many league observers viewed Billups as potentially on the hot seat during the first half of the season. But the young Blazers — with Shaedon Sharpe, Anfernee Simons and Deni Avdija — have shown promise, going 22-18 since Jan. 18.

On the season, Portland is 35-46 — a 14-win improvement over last season — and 12th in the Western Conference before wrapping up its campaign Sunday by hosting the third-seeded Los Angeles Lakers at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Billups, 48, is in his fourth season coaching Portland and is in the final year of his four-year contract. He has compiled a 116-211 record with the franchise, which is still searching for its first playoff berth during his tenure.

A Hall of Famer, Billups played 17 NBA seasons that included five All-Star appearances and an NBA championship with the Detroit Pistons in 2004, when he also earned Finals MVP.

Billups’ extension follows the Trail Blazers also signing general manager Joe Cronin to a new contract. Cronin took over as GM after Neil Olshey was dismissed approximately six months after Billups was hired as head coach.

Under Billups and Cronin, Portland has undertaken a rebuild in which stars Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum and Norman Powell were traded away. In addition to Sharpe, Simons and Avdija, the team’s young core includes Scoot Henderson and Toumani Camara, supplemented by veterans Jerami Grant and Deandre Ayton.

The Blazers are currently slotted for the No. 9 selection in the NBA Draft, pending the outcome of the NBA Draft Lottery, which can add more talent to the roster.

Portland was officially eliminated from playoff consideration last Sunday with the Sacramento Kings’ win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Yet the Blazers can finish just three games back of the No. 10 seed, which would have qualified them for the NBA play-in tournament.

Trail Blazers sign Chauncey Billups to multiyear extension

0

The Portland Trail Blazers have signed coach Chauncey Billups to a multiyear contract extension, general manager Joe Cronin announced Sunday.

Trail Blazers officials negotiated a new deal with Billups’ representation, Andy Miller of Klutch Sports, as the coach was finishing his fourth season and the final guaranteed year on his contract Sunday.

“I’m just so happy, with what we’ve done and where I think we can go,” Billups said. “So much promise here. I’m pumped about it.”

The Trail Blazers also reached a multiyear extension with Cronin on Monday to fortify their leadership structure. Cronin and Billups have spoken publicly about their friendship spanning decades, making for a cohesive GM-coach relationship.

Portland is 35-46 and out of playoff contention entering Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Los Angeles Lakers. But Billups has led the Trail Blazers to a 22-18 record since Jan. 19, ranking in the top five in the NBA in defense and third in transition defense during that span, according to ESPN Research.

“The defensive improvement that we’ve seen, for us to be the third-best defense in the league in the second half of the season. That’s meaningful and substantive,” Cronin said. “And that’s what we’ve been trying to build. And that’s what we’re going to point to moving forward, this is who we are.”

In guiding the third-youngest roster this season by playing time, Billups led the development of several players, including Deni Avdija, Shaedon Sharpe and Toumani Camara. The Trail Blazers have been building around a mix of veterans such as Anfernee Simons, Jerami Grant, Deandre Ayton and Avdija along with young talent in Sharpe, Camara, Scoot Henderson and Donovan Clingan.

Billups is 116-211 in his four seasons as Trail Blazers coach, his first head-coaching opportunity. Portland’s 35 wins this season are its most since 2020-21, when it made its last playoff appearance.

“I just feel very good about where we’re at, and now I understand how long it takes to build a culture. I feel like we’ve done that,” Billups said. “I think the telltale of that, for any coaches, is if at some point when your team kind of takes on your personality and how you believe the game should be played, I think you’ve gotten there.”

Inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame last year, Billups won an NBA championship with the Detroit Pistons in 2004, when he was the Finals MVP, and was a five-time All-Star over a 17-year NBA career spent primarily with the Pistons and Denver Nuggets.

Michael Landon’s son talks about growing up on the ‘Little House on the Prairie’ set

0

Christopher Landon was born in 1975, a few months after his dad launched “Little House on the Prairie.” Michael Landon, whose other TV credits include “Bonanza” and “Highway to Heaven,” died when Christopher was 16, but they had enough time to bond over their love for TV and films.

Landon, 50, is in the midst of a successful career behind the camera, contributing to scripts for “Disturbia” and the “Paranormal Activity” franchise, as well as directing horror films like “”Happy Death Day” and “Freaky.”

His latest, “Drop,” now in theaters, leans more on suspense than slashing. Meghann Fahy stars as a widowed mother whose date at a high-rise restaurant takes a dark turn when she’s blackmailed by cellphone.

Landon spoke while driving in Santa Barbara last month about the new direction in his career, growing up on the “Little House” set and why his dad would have loved his movies.

Q: Is this film a bit of a departure for you?

A: Weirdly, it’s a little bit of a return. I wrote “Disturbia” a long time ago, which was very much a love letter to “Rear Window.”

Q: Like “Rear Window,” it’s contained mostly to one location. What are the advantages and challenges to that approach?

A: I found more advantages than disadvantages. For one thing, we got to build this big, beautiful set, a 12,000-square-foot restaurant. Creatively, you have so much more control and I was able to do things I’m not normally able to do. We got to shoot pretty much in sequential order, which is a huge advantage for the actors because they could track emotionally where they were. I was a kid in a candy store.
