Javier Mascherano was happy with his team’s performance, despite having to settle for a draw, when speaking to DAZN after the match.
💬 “I think was a great game. It’s difficult when you play this kind of game because you are playing against one of the best teams in South America. Maybe at the end we had the game in our hands so the feeling is strange.
“But before we started the tournament, if someone told me we were going to have these kinds of performances against these kinds of teams, I’d sign up. I appreciate the team, the guys, all the players because they gave more than 100 per cent.”
